A season does not simply stop. When the admin ends it, the world throws one
last battle at everyone still standing — the Finale Siege. Win it and the season pays out.
Lose it and the season closes anyway, with nothing.
The siege is announced, then a 10 minute countdown runs so people can gather. After that:
The whole siege times out after 45 minutes. If it times out, or every player logs off, the
siege is lost.
Defaults, server-configurable.
There is nothing to sign up for. Fight what shows up. The game tracks how much damage each
player deals, and who lands the killing blow on the boss. Once the boss is up, the
Boss Contribution panel shows the top three damage dealers and
your own share live.
If the boss dies, the spoils are paid:
Nation spoils come from a separate pool — being in a nation never reduces your personal Legacy
share, and players with no nation lose nothing.
If the siege times out or the server empties, there is no title, no Legacy pool, no ladder
points and no treasury spoils. The season still closes, and everything else about it — your
Chronicle tiers, leaderboard finishes, nation levels — still converts to
Legacy as normal. Only the siege’s own rewards are lost.
