Unique skill · evolves from Iron Resolve
Iron Resolve was four ways to endure. Unbreakable keeps three of them, sharpens them, and
replaces the fourth with something else entirely: a killing blow that does not land.
The will does not break. Neither does what carries it.
Unbreakable evolves from Iron Resolve. Three things gate it, and all three must be true at
once (defaults — your server can change any of them):
| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| Iron Resolve | mastered |
| Your EP | 150,000 |
| Bosses defeated | 8 |
Learning it then costs 1,000 magicule.
“Bosses” means the ones Tensura already counts for you — Orc Disaster, Ifrit, Charybdis, the
Elemental Colossus, Hinata and Gazel among them. This server’s
calamity bosses count toward the same total, so either route gets you there.
This is the steepest gate of the four evolutions — eight bosses and 150,000 EP.
Iron Resolve is consumed. The moment Unbreakable is learned, Iron Resolve is taken off your
skill list. You cannot hold both.
Evolving it is announced to the entire server. Everyone will know.
Cycle modes the normal Tensura way, then press to use.
Mastery changes how the first two modes behave. Unmastered, pressing Vein Sense or Iron Aegis
opens a 20-second window and then it expires on its own. Once mastered, both become real
on/off toggles that stay until you switch them off.
Haste X. Mining and attack speed, at the highest level in the addon.
Incoming damage is reduced by an amount scaled to how full your magicule pool is — up to
50% when you are completely full.
The maths is simple: the reduction is your current magicule as a fraction of your maximum, times
50%. Half a pool is 25% reduction. A quarter is 12.5%. An empty pool is nothing at all.
Iron Aegis does not stop spiritual damage. Anything that hits your spirit goes straight
through it.
Strength IV — a full level above Iron Resolve’s Surge.
| Unmastered | Mastered | |
|---|---|---|
| Duration | 5 minutes | 10 minutes |
| Cost | 2,000 magicule | 2,000 magicule |
| Cooldown | 6 minutes | 12 minutes |
Note that mastering it doubles the duration and the cooldown. You get the same uptime either
way — you just get it in longer, less frequent blocks.
The signature, and the reason to take the skill.
Press it to arm it. It sits armed, costing nothing, doing nothing, until a blow arrives that
would kill you — and then that blow is simply refused.
When it fires:
| Unmastered | Mastered | |
|---|---|---|
| Internal cooldown | 10 minutes | 6 minutes |
Two things go through it regardless: the void and an admin’s /kill. Falling out of the world
still kills you with Undying Will armed.
The free Surge is not quite free — it still pays its 2,000 magicule. If you are too empty to
afford it when Undying Will fires, you survive anyway; you just do not get the Strength.
