Walpurgis is a political council event for Demon Lords. A banquet is held in a dedicated council dimension where attendees submit motions, vote on them, and — when votes tie — settle matters by Combat Clause duel. Passed motions have real diplomatic consequences, and if the Nation system is active, they ripple into nation-level wars, alliances, and territory.
Must be enabled on your server.
Only Demon Lords receive the convene invite, may enter the hall, and may vote. Anyone can check status and view claims/enemies/treaties from outside.
/etwalpurgis submit)./etwalpurgis vote aye|nay|abstain, or use the council board screen. A live board and a boss bar show the phase and countdown, with chat hints at each step./etwalpurgis challenge <target> or the target-picker screen) within 60 seconds; the defender has 30 seconds to accept. The duel (up to 5 minutes) is fought in the council arena and decides the motion. An unbound Open Council keybind (in Controls, under Elite Tensura) reopens the phase-appropriate screen if you close it.
Passed motions resolve into standing diplomatic records — declared enemies glow and get a login warning; treaties and territorial claims are recorded and viewable by anyone.
If the Nation system is enabled (and the bridge isn't disabled by your server) and the proposing Demon Lord is their nation's leader, motions escalate to the nation level:
| Motion passed | Nation effect |
|---|---|
| Declare Enemy | Files a formal war challenge from the proposer's nation to the target's nation — the target still accepts, refuses, or pays tribute via the normal war handshake. The condemned nation takes a reputation hit (−25 default). |
| Treaty | Files an alliance proposal between the two nations — the target still accepts normally. Small reputation nudge for the proposer (+5 default). |
| Territorial Claim | Grants the proposer's nation a permanent bonus claim budget (+2 chunks default, server-configurable) — no handshake needed. +10 reputation (default). |
| Declare Neutral | Lifts the per-player enemy status as usual, and cancels any pending war challenge between the two nations — the council orders peace. +5 reputation (default). |
The council files, it doesn't impose — bridged wars and alliances still go through the normal accept/refuse flow, and all the usual gates (war caps, cooldowns, reputation limits) still apply. If a mandate can't be enforced, the effect falls back to the regular per-player outcome. Motions proposed by a non-leader always use the per-player outcome.
Simply attending Walpurgis earns your nation +10 reputation.
