When one of your subordinates (tamed, named, or otherwise permanently yours) kills a mob while you're nearby, you gain a share of that kill's EP as a bonus on top. Your subordinate still keeps its full EP gain — your cut is extra, not a split.
This feature must be enabled on your server (it is off by default).
You must be within 20 blocks (default, server-configurable) of the subordinate at the moment of the kill, and in the same dimension. Too far away, or in another dimension? No share.
Summoned creatures already send 100% of their kill EP directly to you — that's base Tensura behavior, unchanged. The EP share only applies to non-summoned subordinates (tamed, named, permanent followers), whose kill EP would otherwise go entirely to the creature itself. This means you never double-dip: summons give you full EP as always, and permanent subordinates now give you a slice too.
