Type: Ultimate Skill
Where Beelzebuth is gluttony turned outward, Ouroboros is gluttony turned inward — the serpent that devours itself and is renewed by it. Every ability revolves around cycles: damage that returns, wounds that rewind, and death that becomes rebirth.
The skill uses only resources you can already see — your magicule bar, your hearts, and cooldowns. Active states show up as effect icons, so there's nothing hidden to track.
Learning Ouroboros consumes both Gluttony and Merciless. Since Beelzebuth also destroys them on learn, the two Gluttony evolutions are a true fork — master both prerequisites, then choose one path forever.
A standalone toggle, separate from the mode cycle. While active:
An effect icon shows while it's on. The math always leaks — you never get back more than the damage you sacrificed — but it makes long fights very hard to lose.
Scroll to cycle between five press-modes:
Pay a flat magicule cost to prime yourself for 5 seconds. Your next hit strikes three times — immediately, +1s later, and +2s later. Each echo is 25% stronger than the last, deals spiritual damage, and bypasses armor and shields. Echoes are "inert" — they don't trigger on-hit effects or chain further. Short cooldown.
Shed your skin: removes severance and all debuffs (except Cycle Debt), paying magicule per debuff removed, and grants absorption hearts — a base amount plus more per debuff shed. The yellow hearts last until you take damage. 30-second cooldown.
Rewind yourself 5 seconds: teleport to where you stood 5 seconds ago and restore 50% of the HP you lost in that window. On arrival, a shockwave bursts in a 4-block radius, damaging every hostile — the more HP you restored, the harder it hits. Heavy flat magicule cost, 60-second cooldown. Health only — magicule is never refunded, and the rewind can't cross dimensions.
Press to arm: pay 50% of your max magicule and gain an armed effect icon lasting 5 minutes. If you die while armed, the death is real — death counter, EP penalty, and item drops all apply — but then you rise again at the death spot with 30% HP, gaining a stacking Cycle Debt debuff each rebirth. Severance and soul-destruction deaths are still final. 10-minute cooldown.
The kit's one direct attack. A cone bite in front of you (90° arc, 6-block reach): every enemy hit takes flat damage plus 10% of its max HP, and you heal for 25% of the total damage dealt. Costs 10,000 magicule, 12-second cooldown. If nothing is in the cone, the press is free — no cost, no cooldown.
